  - Serving in the Research and Development Division in Washington DC.
  - Special area of research - Satellite Remote Sensing and its integration with agricultural and
  natural resource inventory and monitoring systems.
• Computer Scientist - USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service - 1987 to present
  - Served on the design and programming team for the Geographic Analysis and Support System (GRASS).
  - Design and built the first NRCS national headquarters WEB server system.
  - Designed and built the National Resource Inventory WEB site.
  - Member of the Open GIS Consortium - Technical Committee.

Interests:

• Primary focus is the design, development and use of WEB protocols, standards and procedures to promote the use of Geographical Information and its integration with natural resource information and monitoring.
