  • B.S. (zoology/botany, '69) and M.S. (zoology, '74) from Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL. 
  • U.S. Army, 1969-1971. 
  • Employed with NRCS (formerly the Soil Conservation Service(SCS)) since 1974. Previous positions included: SCS District Conservationist, SCS Biologist in Madison, WI, SCS State Biologist in Champaign, IL SCS/NRCS Wildlife Biologist collocated with the Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station since 1987. 

Interests:

  • Current interests include conducting analyses of the status, condition, and trends of wetlands and wildlife habitat for regional and national appraisals, integrating ecosystem principles into NRCS resources inventory activities, and develop and test analytical techniques for evaluating wildlife habitat, wetlands, and other natural resources.
  • The Great Commission, family activities, camping, skiing, hunting, and the great outdoors.
